About
BBT was founded in 2002 by Annie & Tom Boscutti who have been involved in live stage productions since they met each other in 1983. Annie is a graduate of Santa Barbara City College where she studied music, theater, dance, business, and fine arts. Tom has been a successful businessman for over 30 years. His knowledge includes studies in film and studio recording in Santa Barbara and Hollywood, California. Annie and Tom established BBT to provide a venue for the development of artistic expression, creativity, and talent in the Lompoc Valley. At BBT we believe in offering an open-minded approach to the art of performing, where we emphasize a mentor-protege atmosphere for everyone.
Currently, BBT is directed by Annie & Catrina Boscutti.
Boscutti Ballet Theatre offers age-appropriate classes for ages 3-18 in a non-competitive environment. Year-round performances include recital, Santa Barbara County Fair, Santa Barbara Old Spanish Days Fiesta, and more!
We would love the opportunity to introduce the world of dance to your child in a loving, nurturing atmosphere. We hope you become part of our dance family and enjoy performing with Boscutti Ballet Theatre!

Memories From Our Alumni
BBT will forever hold a special place in my heart! The performances and rehearsals were always so much fun (and a lot of work!) But it is so rewarding and spectacular! Break a leg out there! I can't wait to see what's in store – Nicole Cox
When I was cast as Belle, I realized I went from looking up to the older dancers to being one of the older dancers that the younger ones looked up to and wanted to be like – Erin Beard
My favorite memory from dancing at the studio is our weekly classes when we finished learning the routines and kept running them every class. It was so fun and exciting because we were all together and laughing and fine-tuning the routines – Lainey Ranjo
I would say that my favorite memory by far was traveling to Disneyland and taking classes! I also loved Fiesta and getting to perform there -Savannah Frazier
My favorite memory of being a part of it was meeting some of my lifelong friends there and being able to perform alongside them! My favorite performances took place at fiestas in Santa Barbra! I will never forget being a dancer there; it made me who I am today and provided me with memories I’ll never forget – Alaiya Deavers
I would say being the tiger in The Wizard of Oz was so fun, jumping around the stage and being goofy – Resdan Logan
One of my favorite memories is when I first got my point shoes. I had been working for them for 7 years!!! I was so excited when I got them. Miss Annie walked me through everything that I know now – Alexis Mobbs
My favorite memories from performing with BBT are my acting classes and all of my dance classes! The energy was always excellent, and I forever cherish my years with the company– Blaine Dimock
One of the best memories was being a part of Fiesta, even if we were a sweaty mess most of the time! I remember being on stage at the courthouse, and our music cut out mid-dance, and we still managed to pull off the performance!! I miss lots of things about dancing at BBT and dancing in general.. life goes on so fast, but the memories give me a sense of happiness – Kylie Uballe
A memory I will always carry from BBT is how supportive the dancers and teachers are! Always believing in each other as a team – Ana Hernandez
My favorite memory from Bbt would probably have to be every show when we would get into the theater for the first time because I knew I was about to spend the whole weekend in makeup and costume and getting to hang out with my best friends -Emma Chastain
My most favorable memory of performing with BBT is looking out in the crowd and seeing my grandma's and cousin Chel’s faces. A memory that I will hold dear to my heart forever – Mark Pfeifer
Of several great memories I have from dancing with BBT as a child, my favorite memory would be playing Max in their production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Or dancing around in my sparkly candy cane costume in The Nutcracker. I still see those candy cane costumes in some of today’s productions – Hailey Pickles
My favorite BBT memory is being able to perform with my cousins and all the beautiful, creative show themes throughout the years. I’ve loved seeing BBT grow and evolve – Brittley Ranny
My favorite memory is when I just started to learn dance. It helped me so much in life – Briella Tista
BBT is my forever dance family. I started dancing when I was three and continued until I was 13. They have pushed me to become a good individual. I am forever grateful for BBT. I am now in high school and made JV captain for LHS cheer, and I couldn’t have done it without them – Jordyn Perez
One of my favorite memories with BBT was when we did Scrooge. I knew I had already loved dancing because it allowed me to express myself through song and movement. But I fell in love when I saw people performing solo or duet performances. For instance, the performance by Mark to the song Temperature was one of my favorite routines to watch during rehearsals. Overall, BBT made me fall in love with dance and always made me feel welcomed and understood. I will always have a special place in my heart for Annie, Catrina, and all those who took part in my several years at BBT - Taylor White
My favorite memory is dress rehearsals! I always felt so special - Ciarra Blow
